Winter Canoe Build 05: Starting the bows
October 9, 2020 - Belfast, ME
At this point in the process, I still wasn’t sure how to incorporate any willing volunteers. I felt there would be time-wasting and folks might be underutilized. So I took some lessons learned from last year’s program, especially the trial-by-fire of the community shed-raising, that would leave us as prepared as possible for the community part. I got to attaching the bows to the ridge (top lengths of lumber composing the spine at the top of the building).
